The Ohio State Buckeyes and Notre Dame Fighting Irish are less than 48 hours away from kicking off the 2025 National Championship Game in Atlanta.
The teams spend a busy Saturday meeting with the media and holding their final full practices before the game kicks off.
The team at BuckeyeHuddle.com is taking you inside those practices and behind the scenes of some of the final preparations for the biggest game of the college football season.
We’ll start with a look inside Ohio State’s practice at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Next up, a look inside Notre Dame’s practice, including what appears to be their lineup along a banged-up offensive line. According to what we saw, LT Charles Jagusah, LG Billy Schrauth, C Pat Coogan, RG Rocco Spindler, and RT Aamil Wagner are the likely starters. Spindler has been fighting through an injury suffered during the Orange Bowl, and Jagusah is making his first start of the season after tearing a pectoral muscle during preseason camp. He’s replacing Anthonie Knapp, who suffered an injury during the Orange Bowl win over Penn State.
We will have a full behind-the-scenes walkthrough of Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Monday, but here’s a sneak peek at a small section of the concourse underneath the stadium, and a look around the field where the game will be played on Monday night.
If you’ve never been to Atlanta before, the downtown area around Mercedes-Benz Stadium is full of major landmarks in sports, including Centennial Olympic Park and the College Football Hall of Fame. Get a look at all of that as you join along for a walk to Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
And finally, no trip to the south would be complete without a visit to the biggest gas station in the world, Buc-ee’s. What makes it such an iconic spot? Take a walk around the store to see for yourself.
