New Ohio State offensive line coach Tyler Bowen has landed another key target for the Buckeyes as four-star Akron (Ohio) Hoban tackle Sam Greer committed on Tuesday afternoon.
Greer, a 6-foot-8, 290-pound prospect has been a priority target for Ohio State for about two years now and after the recent commitment of Max Riley, all in-state attention turned to Greer with the Buckeyes getting a couple of visits from the in-state star.
Those visits solidified the Buckeyes’ standing with Greer, one of the nation’s top offensive tackle prospects.
Bowen has hit the ground running, prioritizing Ohio targets while continuing to keep Ohio State in the mix for national prospects such as Jackson Cantwell, Micah ‘Champ’ Smith, Felix Ojo, and others.
But this O-Line class has always needed to be Ohio driven and now the Buckeyes have two of the nation’s best in the fold in Greer and Riley.
Greer is also the teammate of the Buckeyes’ top remaining in-state target in five-star cornerback Elbert Hill.
