It was a blustery day on Saturday, and I’m not just talking about the head coaches after Jesse Mirco’s run on fourth down. The wind played havoc with both teams in Ohio State’s 49-10 win over Rutgers. The Buckeye running game, however, played more havoc with Rutgers than any amount of wind could do to OSU quarterback CJ Stroud.
This was not Stroud’s best day. In fact, statistically, it was his worst day. He completed 13-of-22 passes for 154 yards with two touchdowns and an interception. And the Buckeye still scored 49 points.
