Wolverine defensive coordinator Jesse Minter used a myriad of coverages against CJ Stroud and Ohio State. Minter principally mixed single-high cover 1 and cover 3 buzz with quarter-quarter-half on standard downs, combined with cover 2 and cover 4 split safety concepts and creeper pressures on passing downs—often running one-high concepts from two high safeties and vice versa to force Stroud to process coverages post-snap.
