The No. 4 Ohio State Buckeyes and No. 1 Georgia Bulldogs both held practices Thursday inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Thursday morning, the Buckeyes worked out, and the big news was the return of junior RB Miyan Williams. He missed the previous practice due to an illness.
The practice included a period of the younger players working 11-on-11. Freshman QB Devin Brown connected with WR Kyion Grayes on a long touchdown pass at one point.
Jelani Thurman, the Buckeyes’ 2023 tight end commit and a Georgia native, visited practice as well.
Wednesday afternoon, Georgia head coach Kirby Smart made the open part of practice an intense and competitive warmup period. Thursday afternoon, the open period consisted of 15 minutes of yoga for the end-of-practice cool-down period.
