Kevin McGuff’s No. 2 Ohio State women’s basketball team faced off with No. 10 Iowa Monday night in front of close to 10,000 fans inside the Schottenstein Center.
Iowa superstar Caitlin Clark put up a triple-double with 28 points, 10 rebounds, and 15 assists as the Hawkeyes pulled away late for an 83-72 win.
Cotie McMahon scored a team-high 21 for the Buckeyes, and Taylor Thierry scored 20 in the loss.
In this episode of Buckeyes TomOrrow Morning, you’ll hear directly from McGuff, McMahon, and Thierry on the disappointing loss, the fantastic crowd, and what they’ll have to do to bounce back from their first loss of the season with a tough trip to Indiana on deck later in the week.
