I kinda understand Schiano's response. Also, Schiano called a punt block while being down by more than 4 TD's in the 4th quarter. Not to mention Schiano had his defense go full-go against the opposing team's victory formation play in the NFL. So, it's a little rich for him to claim he's worried about player safety.

I agree with a coach wanting to protect his players but Ohio State is NOT Miami or one of these low character programs that try to fight other players. Unless it's TTUN. That's a different story.
