Ohio State added a big piece to its 2023 recruiting class on Monday evening, landing four-star defensive tackle Kayden McDonald out of Georgia. The Suwanee (Ga.) North Gwinnett product visited Ohio State back in September and was long considered a Clemson lean. But the Buckeyes surged late to land McDonald’s commitment, beating out Clemson, Florida, Michigan, and Oklahoma for the four-star prospect.
What Ohio State is getting
Ohio State had previously landed defensive tackle commitments from Jason Moore and Will Smith Jr. but McDonald is a different type of interior lineman than the aforementioned duo.
