Ohio State’s 2024 offensive line class was very much grounded in the Midwest. The Buckeyes signed their two Ohio prospects early on Wednesday morning with Deontae Armstrong joining his brother, Devontae, in getting his Letter of Intent in to Ohio State as the sun was coming up.
Armstrong, a 6-foot-7, 295-pound prospect will bring three state championship rings from powerhouse Lakewood (Ohio) St. Edward with him to Columbus as he and his brother have anchored the left side of the St. Ed’s offensive line over the past two seasons.
A four-star tackle prospect, Armstrong should slot right in at left tackle for the Buckeyes moving forward and gives Ohio State a high upside prospect at a premium position.
