One of Ohio State’s top recruiting targets in the 2025 class will soon return to campus for a lengthy unofficial visit. Santa Ana (CA) Mater Dei star running back Jordon Davison is going to get another long look at things in Columbus early this spring.
The Top 100 prospect confirmed with BuckeyeHuddle.com that he will arrive in Columbus on March 27th and stay through April 1st, giving Ohio State it’s best chance yet to impress one of the nation’s top backs.
Davison made multiple visits to Ohio State over the past year, working with running backs coach Tony Alford at a camp last June and returning for a game day visit in the fall.

This upcoming trip looks to be a business trip with Davison and family getting a prolonged look at every aspect of the Ohio State football program. The Buckeyes have been battling Alabama, Georgia, Oregon, Texas and many others over the past year but have been considered a top contender for the nation’s No. 3 running back prospect.
Alford stopped by Mater Dei this week to check on Davison and other Mater Dei recruiting targets. Davison will make an unofficial visit to Oregon this weekend.
