Ohio State fourth-year junior center Victor Cutler is entering the transfer portal as a graduate transfer and will have one year of eligibility remaining.
Cutler transferred to Ohio State last winter from Louisiana-Monroe where he was the starting left tackle in 2022. He had also started games at right tackle and center.
The Buckeyes brought him in to compete for the starting center job this year. He spent this season as the No. 2 center behind starter Carson Hinzman.
Cutler played in just five games this past season.
Ohio State is once again expected to look to the portal for both depth and possible starters on the offensive line next season. The Buckeyes landed two linemen out of the portal last year with Cutler and starting left tackle Josh Simmons out of San Diego State. They will look to bring in at least that many this winter as well.
Two targets currently are Notre Dame starting center Zeke Correll and Indiana starting left tackle Carter Smith, both of whom are Ohio natives and will be looking for new homes.
